Blues All Stars! Golden State Lone Star Revue with Mark Hummel, Anson Funderburgh, and Little Charlie Baty.

The Golden State Lone Star Revue and its Blues All Stars visit Port Angeles! Mark Hummel, Anson Funderburgh, and Little Charlie Baty and The Blues Survivors - together and one night only on Thursday September 29th, 7:30p.m., presented by Upstage and Studio Bob. Three rockin' blues giants!

Grammy nominated Mark Hummel with his smokin; harmonica joins master guitar slinger Anson Funderburg (from Anson Funderbergh and the Rockets) and Little Charlie Baty, swinging guitarist and former band leader of Little Charlie and The Nightcats. With former Rockets drummer Wes Starr & bassist Richard W. Grigsby, The Golden State Lone Star revue first toured through Europe and the U.S. together in 2012.

Funderburgh has over 30 Blues award nominations and 3 for Best Band of the Year. Charlie Baty has dozens of nominations and awards. The two masters play their guitars in a brilliant combination. Grammy nominee Mark Hummel has as many Blues Foundation awards including Blues Album of the Year and Traditional Blues Album of the Year. It just doesn't get better than this." Golden State - Lone Star carries the torch for Traditional Electric Blues with Style and Class. Top Notch" - Blues Music Mag.

The quintet is featured on Hummel's 2014 release on Electro Fi's "The Hustle Is Really On", nominated for a 2015 Blues Music Award for best traditional blues cd. Funderburgh produced the newest upcoming Hummel/Golden State/Lone Star project, set for Feb. 2016. Youll be hearing some very new and yet released tunes in the mix. Having these blues masters together in an intimate setting will knock your socks off!

Little Charlie sums up the collective mojo of the band best:

"This is all about 5 guys who have been playing music all their lives, but each night play with the energy and excitement of their first gig." Their upcoming album is bound to be one of the most listened to and talked about Blues Albums of 2016. Alone or with past bands, the three are individually outstanding. Come to Studio Bob to hear them together on tour!
