From Tom Shindler:

The Old Time Fiddlers are playing for a dance they are hosting from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road. Kristin Smith leads the band and Tony Mates calls the dances. Tony says he likes dances that get everyone up and on the floor. He might teach the schottische, a lively couple dance, as well as calling the contra and square dances. Expect some waltzes and a polka, too.

A $5 donation, which supports fiddle scholarships for youths, is asked for those 16 and over. Those under 16 are free with an accompanying adult. Snacks are welcomed. Smooth-soled shoes are preferred.

For more information, call Tom at (360) 457-5667.
