From the Upstage website:

This dynamic vocal harmony group features 3 talented ladies and a four piece back up group, performing material from classic swing and Rhythm and Blues, to Rock and Pop favorites from the past several decades. Predominately a dance band, the “Skirts” lay down a tight, solid groove, while maintaining high quality vocal harmonies characteristic of the classic girl groups such as The Supremes, The Pointer Sisters, Martha and the Vandellas, and so many more.

The Fenderskirts have been entertaining audiences for three decades now, playing a wide variety of venues that include numerous appearances at Bumbershoot, Seafair, and various regional summer festivals. For years they were part of Seattle’s Pioneer Square music scene appearing regularly at Doc Maynard’s and the Pioneer Square Tavern.

The Fenderskirts, still the original three members, are Ginnilyn Hawkins, Dianne Trani, and Kaetche Miller. The current four piece backup group includes long-time Fenderskirt drummer Tom Svornich, Dave Carson on Tenor Sax, Ted Enderle on bass, and Chuck Easton on guitar.

Come Early and don’t forget your dancing shoes…. even if you only plan to listen …. you won’t be able to sit still!
