Invitation to TANGO 2012

Dear Friends:

This is the fourth year we have invited Tango dancers to come to Port Townsend for a celebration of Tango in the friendly, relaxed environment of our quiet Victorian-era seaport town. There are no classes, just lots of dancing and socializing. The emphasis is on building relationships within the extended Tango family in a mostly traditional Buenos Aires influenced setting. We have moved to a larger venue to accommodate the growing popularity of our celebration.

We encourage you to register early, it is much cheaper for you, ($50 discount) and helps us with our planning.

Some things you will want to know:

A new venue that is twice as big as our old one, with a suspended wood floor that is easy on the feet. It also includes a separate dinning/hang-out room and lots of parking.

• 7 milongas, including a Welcome milonga, a Saturday AM mixer dance and continental breakfast, afternoon Alternative milonga, evening Grand milonga with snacks and wine, Late Night milonga, Sunday Potluck milonga, and a Farewell milonga.
• It's all about the music - check out our DJ's
• Catered Tango Lunch on Saturday
• We have a very high quality sound system with six excellent speakers spaced around the dance floor to give an even sound
• Budget friendly preregistration (only $95 for All Event Pass until Dec 31) and special rates at local historic hotels. There is a full-hook-up campground for the hardy campers or those with an RV.
