From the Concerts in the Woods:

Since its inception in 2012, Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers has established itself on the Pacific Northwest festival and venue circuit. The band has two CDS to its credit: 2014’s Sin Comin’ On, with a mix of covers and originals, and 2015’s Ante Up, which was selected as an IBBA (Independent Blues Broadcaster’s Association) pick in May 2015.

Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers put their own spin on classics, often adding a touch of funk for danceability. Michele leads the band with smooth delivery on laid back soul blues, then cutting it up on the more lively tunes. Bassist Patrick McDanel brings backing vocals to the mix as well, and C. D. Woodbury will be on guitar. Originals explore traditional blues themes such as love, loss, relationships, and temptation with a sense of what one reviewer described as “soulful whimsy.” More modern themes are covered as well; “Memory” deals with Alzheimer’s, a condition affecting two of the band members’ parents.

Michele D’Amour and the Love Dealers enjoy interacting with audiences of all ages.
