Master Fiddler Bruce Molsky in Concert October 16

Port Townsend’s Quimper Grange hosts master fiddler and Grammy nominee Bruce Molsky and Molsky’s Mountain Drifters for a workshop and concert on Monday October 16. The workshop will begin at 3:30 in the afternoon and will be led by the entire band, first whole group followed by small group work on the fiddle, banjo and guitar. The concert will start at 7:00pm.

There is nothing to compare to an acoustic house concert experience at the Grange. Join your friends and enjoy the spirit of a traditional music community. Molsky will be joined by well known claw-hammered banjo player Allison DeGroot and guitarist Stash Wyslouch of the Deadly Gentlemen. From folk taverns to huge festival stages, to workshops at the Berklee College of Music Molsky seduces audiences with his excellent musicianship and conversational wit. After leaving college and big city life he headed for an off the grid cabin in Virginia to indulge his growing passion for authentic Appalachian mountain music. He has been a featured performer at the Festival of American Fiddletunes here in Port Townsend and he enjoys returning to our music-loving town.

The proceeds from the House Concert and Workshop go to supporting all the educational and community events at the Quimper Grange. For videos of Bruce Molsky and Molsky’s Mountain Drifters go to
