From Judy Rudolph:

Hola, Salseros y Salseras!

Second Sunday Salsa Night Feb. 9th will be at the Manresa Castle, 651 Cleveland Street. The Banquet Room has a beautiful dance floor; use the Hotel entrance at the south end farthest from the hospital.

Class Times: we will start with a beginning salsa lesson from 7-7:30 pm, followed by an Intermediate Salsa lesson from 7:30-8:00. Both will be taught by Chris and Terry Copeland. Then there will be Latin dancing from 8-10. Everyone is welcome! Experienced dancers are encouraged to come for both lessons to help beginners.

The dances include a variety of Latin dances in addition to salsa: cha cha, samba, rumba, merengue, bachata, and maybe even a tango or west coast swing. Jean and Tom, our hosts, will be teaching mini-lessons covering the basic steps of Latin dances throughout the evening, so here’s your chance to get started on a new dance form.

As the Manresa bar and restaurant are both closed on Sundays, they are allowing us to bring our own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, if you feel so inclined.

Cover charge is $7. and includes the lesson(s) and the dance. We continue to be a volunteer group and welcome guest instructors (talk to Jean if you might be interested).

Hope to see you all at the Manresa Sunday evening, Feb. 9th.
