From Tinker Cavallaro:

Join your friends and neighbors for an all-ages community contra dance from 6-9pm on Saturday, August 20, on the lawn behind the Sequim Branch Library. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate, and all dances will be taught at this free event. Contra dancing is vibrant, social, and inclusive; no previous dance experience, lessons, or special costumes are necessary! It's fun for all ages, and makes for great exercise. Come alone or with a partner to enjoy reels, circle mixers, contras, squares, and couple dances set to top-notch live music! Caller Sherry Nevins will teach and lead the dances, with live musical accompaniment from Master Fiddler Rodney Miller and guitarist Alex Sturbaum.

In the event of inclement weather, the dance will be held inside the Sequim High School cafeteria, located at 601 North Sequim Avenue.
