Roberto Villamarin Teaches a Workshop in West Coast Swing Styling Before the December 9th OPD Dance

The dance, which is open to all, features an all-star ensemble that's a favorite of Peninsula music fans. The group is known for keeping listeners entertained and dancers moving with their mix of New Orleans Rhythm n' Blues, Chicago shuffle blues, Latin-flavored tunes, and Zydeco.

Lost in the Shuffle is a Port Townsend-based quartet that specializes in blues shuffles and dance tunes that are not often heard in many other "blues band" sets.  This will be a night of blues, boofies, and belt-buckle polishers.

This is a smoke-free dance open to all ages. Water and beverages are available at the bar.

Stickshift AnnieSultry swing, red-hot blues and smoldering slow-burners are Stickshift Annie's specialties, custom-built for both listeners and dancers. Vocalist Annie Eastwood is accompanied by guitarist Kimball Conant who often joins her on vocals, Larry Hill on bass and Phil Bowden on percussion contributing texture and beat to the band's smooth sounds and straight-ahead rockin' roadhouse blues.
