Intermediate West Coast Swing Continued 6:30 - 7:30
This is a continuation of the session just completed. We will do some review so we don't forget the moves we have been exploring. Then we will add to our repertoire with new, fun material. We will also focus on good lead/follow skills. Knowledge of the basics is required to join these classes at this point.
5 WEEK SESSION :
This is a fundraiser for the 2013 Rhodedendron Festival, themed as a "Staying' Alive, Doin' the Hustle" disco dance.
Disco attire from the 70's is encouraged but optional. There will a dance-off competition, souvenir photos, door prizes, free snacks, and a full-service bar as well as a silent auction. The music is by Louie's World.
Tickets are $10 for singles and $15 for couples (adults only).

Brian Lee & The Orbiters, recipients of two 2012 Best of the Blues awards and nine nominations, return to the Olympic Peninsula and OPD on March 15.
Brian Lee & the Orbiters are among the premier bands on the Northwest U.S. blues circuit. Brian delivers dynamic and engaging performances with melodic vocals, exceptional song writing, and superb harmonica, slide guitar, and guitar.
The swingin’, dynamic and versatile sounds of Maia Santell and House Blend have made them one of the most popular dance bands in the Northwest. Performing a mix of swing, blues, Latin, jazz standards, Motown, big band and contemporary favorites, the band accommodates a variety of styles, tempos and rhythms for the beginning dancer, the intermediate dancer and the professional dance coach.
Known for both their high-energy and consummate professionalism, The Blues Counselors keep the dancing crowd on its feet the entire evening. The ensemble of six seasoned Pacific Northwest musicians features Rick Allyn on vocals and guitar and Teresa Fraser also doing vocals and contributing percussion.

WEST COAST SWING TWO CONTINUED 6:30 - 7:30
We will continue to review and learn new moves for this fabulous dance. We will focus on good partnering skills and talk a bit about balance and spinning. We will explore both 6 and 8 count moves. Familiarity with WCS basic skills is a prerequisite.
